Rentals are paid upfront. You can request cancellation 2 to 20 minutes after the rental starts, only if no SMS has arrived. Once the cancellation is confirmed, the refund returns to your NumberHub balance. After this window or an SMS, the rental continues until expiry; early termination is unavailable.
Refund & CancellationWhen renting beats a one-time number
NumberHub SMS activations receive verification codes for the selected service during the window shown on the order. An activation can receive more than one code; the number is charged once, and further codes on the same number are free. It does not reserve the number for future orders.
Use a temporary number for one-time sign-up codes. Do not use one as the recovery number on an account you intend to keep, and do not use one for banking, payments, or anything holding money or identity documents.
What you get for the rental period
NumberHub rentals are paid upfront for the selected period, with no per-message charge for messages received during that period. How is renting different from a one-time OTP number?
A one-time number receives codes for the service you chose during the window shown on the order; further codes on that number are free, but the number is not kept for you afterwards. A rental keeps the same number for the period you pay for (1 day, 3 days, 1 week or 1 month), so you can receive its messages again later in that period.
