How email OTP verification works

An email verification message can contain a code or a link. Here is how to place an order, read the message and check what you are paying for.

Choose the website before ordering

In NumberHub, choose the website you want to verify and an available mail domain. Check the displayed price before ordering. When the order is ready, copy its email address into that website and ask the website to send its verification message.

Choosing an available address does not guarantee that the website will accept it. Some services restrict temporary email domains or require a different verification method. Check the service rules before ordering; NumberHub cannot change them.

Read the delivered message, not just the code field

Keep the order open while you wait. A verification email may ask you to type a code into the website, or it may contain a confirmation link instead. Read the message to see which action the sender requires. A missing numeric code does not mean that no email was delivered.

Use the verification only for the account you requested. Keep the message, code and link private, and check the sender and destination before opening a confirmation link.

When your wallet is charged

The price is held when you order. You’re charged when the verification email arrives. It may contain a code or a link.

If no verification email arrives within the order window, the hold is released. Read the current order status and refund policy before placing another order. An additional email request has its own displayed price; do not assume it follows the free further-code policy for SMS numbers.

If the verification email has not arrived

Check that you copied the exact address from the active order, selected the right website and pressed its send-email button. Check the order expiry before requesting a resend. Follow any waiting period shown by the sending website rather than repeatedly pressing resend.

If the website refuses the address, buying the same option again does not fix its acceptance rules. Use a verification method it permits. If an active NumberHub order is not updating, contact support with the order reference.

Keep your own mailbox for account recovery

A disposable email order is temporary access, not an inbox you own permanently. Do not make it the only account recovery method for an account you intend to keep. Check that the service lets you set an email address you control or another recovery method before relying on that account.

Using a different address keeps your personal inbox out of that form, but it does not make you anonymous. The website can still collect other information about your connection and account.

Frequently asked

Am I charged only if a numeric code is found?

What happens if no verification email arrives?

If no verification email arrives within the order window, the hold is released. Check the order status and current refund policy.

Can I keep using the address for account recovery?

Do not rely on a disposable address for account recovery. Keep an email account you control or another recovery method supported by the service.
